It’s My Party and I’ll Cry If I Want To…

It is ok to cry. It is normal. It is human. Crying is healthy for people of all ages and all genders. Crying is a sign of strength. Shedding tears is an essential expression of emotions. We have to stop saying ‘don’t cry’, and instead, encourage letting out tears of rage, grief, frustration, relief and various other feelings. We can cry. Just like laughter, crying is also healing.
