How to Notice the Good: Cailin Hargreaves on Glimmers, and Sharing the Light

By Amrita Tripathi

Ahead of World Mental Health Day, I had a chance to chat with poet and author Cailin Hargreaves, whose book Glimmers: Your Daily Journal for Positive Reflection is such a beautiful testament to her own journey and talent. Hargreaves suffered from an autoimmune disorder from the age of 10, and talks about how it really impacted her as an adult, when she developed Anxiety. Her writing helped her find a way through to hope and healing, and that’s something she wanted to extend outward. Through her super-popular Insta page @CaysWords_, you’ll get a sense of the positive space she’s created and the community she’s curated, not to mention her lovely art and poetry.

This is a journal with lovely illustrations and prompts that can help you deal with some of your daily life trials and tribulations. It’s a gentle, friendly space… Do check out our conversation here and let us know your thoughts! You’ll find shorter clips on our Insta and X handles as well.
